May 31 - June 5, 2010
There are few places on this earth more photogenic than Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
Grand Teton offers majestic mountain peaks that rise dramatically from the valley floor, pristine alpine lakes, the beautiful Snake River and the opportunity for many wildlife encounters.
Yellowstone offers the opportunity to capture some of the earth's most spectacular geothermal features, several breathtaking waterfalls, a lake ringed by thermal features and an area of magnificent mineral deposits second to none.
Our workshop instructors will take you many of the iconic spots in these two parks as well as some locations off the beaten tourist path. We will be basing our workshop at the Ranch Inn in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. http://www.ranchinn.com/ We have reserved a block of rooms but you will be responsible for your own lodging reservations and guaranteeing the room. They need a 30-day notice to cancel your reservation without a penalty. You can call them at 800 348-5599 and tell them you are with the Mountain High Workshop group.
Our Instructors are not only world-class landscape photographers, they are excellent teachers and are ready to share their techniques and expertise with you. Their approach to photography is as different as their backgrounds. What makes our workshops unique, is that you will go out each day and study with a different instructor. Our low student-to-instructor ratio insures that you will get a lot of one-on-one time.
